Love and Let Go
In shadows long, I’ve chased and pled,
Your whims, the path on which I tread.
You come and go, a fleeting breeze,
Accepting, rejecting, as you please.
But now I stand, my heart unbound,
No longer lost, no longer found.
I’m done with chasing, done with pleas,
I let you go, my heart at ease.
With love, I set you free to roam,
No longer will I call you home.
In peace, I find my strength anew,
In letting go, I welcome you.
